2019 NYSYA Winners Announced

The judges have now made their decisions and we are delighted to announce the top three prize winners in each age group in the 2019 Young Scientists of the Year Awards:

7 & 8 year olds

First place: Benjamin R, Yarrawarrah Public School, NSW

Second place: Lauren G, Genesis Christian College, QLD

Third place: Joshua G, Mudgeeraba Creek State School, QLD

 

9 & 10 year olds

First place: William K, Umina Beach Public School, NSW

Second place: Tamara D, Shire Christian School, NSW

Third place (tied): James J, Eatons Hill State School, QLD and Miranda K, Rosanna Golf Links Primary School, VIC

 

11 & 12 year olds

First place: Cordelia H, Roseville College, NSW

Second place: Emilie M, Mudgeeraba Creek State School, QLD

Third place: Terry N, Sydney Japanese International School, NSW

 

Congratulations to all of our winners and many thanks to all the students who took the time to put together their entries - your support for our competition and continued interest in all things science is very much appreciated.
