Overview

This course provides participants with a ‘big picture’ understanding of what change management is all about and its practical application.

It aims to provide an overview on the basic elements of change management.

By completing this course you will gain an understanding of how to guide people through change, in a way that sustains and embeds the new way of working.

You will gain an appreciation of the benefits of effective change management, individual and team impacts of change, the key phases of managing change as well as what successful change looks like.

Objectives

On completion of this course, you should be able to:
  • Define change management and its importance to realising benefits;
  • Identify the different cycles of change and ways to manage resistance;
  • Determine the role of culture in change management;
  • Describe the key phases and success factors of change;
