The Training Services Group has launched a new online version of its Technical Assessor Development Program training course, as part of NATA’s commitment to its volunteer experts.

It will allow technical assessors who are unable to attend NATA training sessions in person to benefit from the courses through the new e-learning portal.

While the traditional training sessions provide an excellent opportunity to ask questions and interact with fellow trainees and NATA staff, the online version will allow assessors to be supported in their training and to gain access the information required at assessments.

The course has been rigorously checked for accurate technical content and contains short assessment activities throughout to ensure the learning targets are achieved. On completion, participants can print out a Certificate of Completion.

Initially, e-learning will be by invitation only and limited to assessors who have been appointed for two years are prevented from attending courses due to issues of time and distance.

Invitations will be sent directly to those assessors by the Training Services Group, which is inviting feedback on the course from participants.
